What is the difference between Acrylic and Polycarbonate mirror?

Basically, one is stronger than the other. Acrylic mirror is 50 times stronger than glass. Polycarbonate mirror is 200 times stronger.

Can I use plastic mirror outdoors?

Yes. If the mirror will be used in an outdoor application, however, use tape around the cut edges to avoid any possibility of delaminating from moisture. Waterproof tape is available in our Plastic Sheet Accessories page

Can I cut shapes from my mirror?

Yes. Use a jig saw with a FINE TOOTH BLADE, and make sure your mirror is supported well as you cut it (Vibration can cause chipped edges). If the mirror will be used in an outdoor application, however, use tape around the cut edges to avoid any possibility of delaminating from moisture.
